Frank Neffke is a Senior Researcher at the Center for International Development at Harvard University. His research focuses on the role of skills in diversification and structural transformation. Frank has written on the emergence of new regional growth paths, the role of worker and firm mobility in the diffusion of industries and technologies and on the importance of skill complementarities among coworkers.
Before joining CID, Frank worked as an assistant professor at the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He holds a Ph. D. in Economic Geography from Utrecht University and Master degrees in Econometrics and Philosophy from the University of Amsterdam.
